John Dyer-Grimes / Kerosene architects won
an open competition to design a new local
amenity. Their idea was to separate adults
and children with two distinctly shaped buildings
linked by a wall. The children’s circular
building is divided into play & sleep spaces,
with miniature doors and windows for them.
The adults building has an overhanging porch
so they can be sheltered while they keep a
watchful eye on their children.
Client: St. Aubin Council
Architect: John Dyer-Grimes / Kerosene Architects
Construction cost: £ 750,000
Constuction time: 25 weeks
