The client’s brief was to design a contemporary restaurant different from the typical London Chinese style. The project involved a fast track refurbishment of an existing shop, working with the client’s own construction team. Strong contrasting materials like zinc handrails, poured rubber flooring and the selective use of bold colour create a visually stimulating design which draws the customers’ eye into the restaurant.
